So, AE is answering questions ins reddit, (they recoding an AMA) and I found this in one of the posts that was answering a guys question of scaling monsters's hp by the player's level.

With the way AQW is set up, that might not work out so well. It would also take a large amount of engine rewriting to make happen. If you train the right class many of the monsters become much more manageable.
